Step 2: Gather Client Information
We’ll ask questions to learn the information we need to help you achieve your goals. We’ll ask about your:
Past experiences
Expectations
Risk assessment
Current levels of taxation
Estate planning
Insurances in place
Financial goals
Step 3: Conduct Needs Analysis
Our team will match your goal-oriented profile with your:
Current tax situation
Time horizon
Investable assets
Life expectancy (with your expected rate of return)
Acceptable levels of risk
Predictability of success
Step 4: Prepare Written Recommendation
We’ll create a detailed entry and execution plan that includes different strategies and options in written form. Your plan will include:
Expected levels of tax-efficient and tax-free investments
Acceptable thresholds of individual equity positions
Contingency plans for bear markets
Step 5: Present Advice and Client Agreement
We’ll present our written recommendations and explain how we crafted your portfolio entry and execution strategies. We’ll also go over how we’ll keep in contact with you going forward.
Step 6: Implementation
After receiving your approval, we’ll implement your plan and then proceed to the expectation and results phase.
Step 7: Review the Plan
We’ll periodically sit down with you, at least twice a year at your semiannual performance reviews, to update your information, address any of your concerns and continue in-depth tax and legacy planning. We’ll also invite you to stay connected with us through client workshops and informational events.
